Arafat: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has announced that the upgraded facilities in Arafat and Mina will enable Pakistani pilgrims to fully focus on worship during Hajj. He made these remarks during his visit to Arafat today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister was accompanied by Religious Affairs Secretary Abrar Ahmad Mirza, Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, and Director Makkah Arif Aslam Rao. The delegation visited several key facilities including dispensaries, sofa-cum-bed accommodations, kitchens, and other amenities at the holy site.
Maktab CEO Bandar bin Abdullah Al Rajhi briefed the delegation on the preparations for the days of Hajj. During a media interaction, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf emphasized that pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme will enjoy improved facilities in Mina and Arafat this year. He also mentioned that fresh meals, tailored to Pakistani tastes, will be provided to the pilgrims during Hajj.
The Minister lauded the efforts of the Saudi government and Al Rajhi Company for making arrangements that cater specifically to the needs of Pakistani pilgrims.
