Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected to persist in most parts of the country, with particularly very hot conditions anticipated during daytime in the southern and central regions over the next twelve hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, isolated rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms is likely to occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.
The temperature recorded in major cities this morning showed Islamabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-eight, Peshawar at twenty-six, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at twenty-one, Gilgit at fourteen, and Murree at seventeen degrees centigrade.
For the weather forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hot and dry conditions are expected in Jammu, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula, while Leh and Anantnag are predicted to experience partly cloudy and dry weather. Srinagar is expected to remain dry.
Temperatures recorded this morning in the region were thirteen degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula, twenty-five in Jammu, five in Leh, and fourteen in Anantnag and Shopian.
