Karachi, May 07, 2014 (PPI-OT): A FPCCI High Level Trade delegation led by Mr. Zakaria Usman President FPCCI has left for Katowice Poland to attend the European Economic Congress and Pakistan – Central Europe Economic Cooperation Forum from 7 to 9 May 2014.
The Trade Delegation has been jointly organzed by FPCCI, TDAP and Pakistan Embassy in Poland with the particular focus on trade potential of Pakistan in both the events which are expected to be attended by large number as many as 600 Polish and European companies.
Pakistan – Central Europe Economic Cooperation Forum on 8th May 2014 has three important sessions including “Frame Work for Economic Cooperation”, “Potential for Trade Cooperation between Pakistan and Central Europe and Investment Capabilities” and “Legal Framework of Pakistan”.
The sessions will cover the important topics including the Potential for Economic Cooperation between Pakistan and Central Euopre, Pakistan a Gateway to Central and South Asia, Polish vision for cooperation with Central and South Asia and Role of International Enterprises in the Development of the Private Sector of Pakistan, Priorities of the trade policy pursued by Pakistan, Pakistan an important manufacturing platform as EU internationalises towards Asia, Opportunities for Entrepreneurs from Central Europe, Trade between Pakstan and Poland prospects and challenges, Trade Cooperation with Pakistan in sectors other than the traditional ones, Investment and Legal Framework of Pakistan as seen from the point of view of industry, Work Environment in Pakistan as seen by Foreign Enterprises, Exploration in search of oil and Gas Deposits in Pakistan opportunities and challenges, Investment Priorities of Poland in Central and south Asia and Investments in Energy Sector of Pakistan.
Mr. Zakria Usman will make a presentation in the first session on Role of International Enterprises in the Development of the Private Sector of Pakistan. The First session will also be addressed by Federal Minister for Commerce Engr Khurram Dastagir Khan. There will be B2B meetings of the Pakistani delegates with their Polish and European counterparts specially arranged by Embassy of Pakistan.
The FPCCI Delegation will also visit to Prague Czech Republic to attend Pakistan Czech Business Forum on 12th May, 2014.
