Srinagar, May 04, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt has said that dialogue is the only way for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Zafar Akbar Butt said this while interacting with the people at Narbal, Kanihama, Mazhama Beeru in Badgam district during mass contact programme.
He said that pro-freedom leadership had a key role in the reconciliation process and demanded active participation by Kashmiris in Pakistan-India talks. He said that bilateral talks between the two nuclear armed countries could not yield any result in the past.
He slammed Indian Minister of State VK Singh for calling Kashmiris Indian citizens. “Kashmir isn’t part of India. It’s a disputed region and internationally recognized conflict. The minister and his countrymen are living in fool’s paradise,” he added.
