Srinagar, April 03, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt has expressed serious concern over the loss of lives and properties due to heavy rains in the territory. Zafar Akbar Butt, leading a delegation visited several areas of Badgam and expressed sympathy and solidarity with the rain affectees of the areas besides distributing relief items among them. The other members of the delegation were Abdul Qayoom, Ghulam Nabi, Gulzar Ahmad Imtiaz Ahmad and Ghulam Muhiuddin.
He said that in last September the devastated floods had severely affected the people of Kashmir and yet they were not rehabilitated that the torrential rains hit them. He said that the authorities were not fulfilling their responsibilities and the affect tees had been left on the mercy of circumstances. Zafar Akbar Butt appealed the philanthropists of the territory to help their brethren in the hour of trouble. He also urged the party leaders and activists to provide every kind of help to those affected by continued rains in the territory.
