Islamabad: Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, announced that sufficient reserves of wheat are available to meet national requirements. He made this statement while chairing the 12th meeting of the National Wheat Oversight Committee in Islamabad, where he also affirmed that there is no wheat shortage in the country.According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring food security, price stability, and the uninterrupted supply of wheat across all provinces. This assurance comes at a time when the national food security strategy is being closely monitored to address any potential challenges in supply and demand.
