Islamabad: A week-long anti-polio vaccination campaign began across the country on Monday. During the drive, field teams from the health department will go door to door to administer anti-polio vaccine drops to over 45 million children under the age of five years.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally launched the anti-polio campaign by administering polio drops to children on Sunday. The campaign aims to eradicate polio by ensuring that every child under five receives the vaccine, thereby strengthening the nation’s fight against the disease.
