Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will organize 2nd Single Country Exhibition Dhaka, Bangladesh on May 23-27 2012. RCCI committed to hold 10 single country expos in year 2012 in the South Asian countries including India, Said Kashif Shabbir Chairman RCCI Standing Committee for Fairs and Exhibition while chairing the meeting held here on Wednesday.
President RCCI Jawed Akhtar Bhatti, Group Leader Najam ul Haq Malik, Senior Vice President RCCI Raja Amer Iqbal, Vice Chairman Committee Kazim Hassan and other members of the committee were also present on the occasion.
Kashif Shabbir said that RCCI prime objective behind organizing such activities is to promote the regional trade among SAARC countries to make the region a trading hub of the world.
Speaking on the occasion President RCCI Jawed Akhtar Bhatti said that Rawalpindi Chamber keen to enhance the business activities with regional states on priority basis. He demanded of the government to facilitate business community in this regard. Bhatti said that RCCI organized first Made in Pakistan Expo from its own resources and likewise coming expos will also be made done.
Group leader Najam ul Haq Malik said that RCCI is organizing Exhibitions since 1984 to promote local products. He said that an EXPO CELL has been established in the Chamber to assist business community regarding fares and expos. He further said that RCCI initiate Expo culture in the country to endorse local products.
