Srinagar, June 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Muzahamat delegations visited different areas of Srinagar, Shopian and Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the families of the youth martyred by the troops.
The delegations were led by Sheikh Musaib and Shabir Ahmed Zargar. Interacting with the family members of the martyrs, the Tehreek-e-Muzahamat leaders said that the Kashmiri martyrs had spilled their blood for a sacred cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They said that the day was not far away when these huge sacrifices would bear fruit in the shape of an end of Indian occupation and arrival of dawn of freedom in occupied Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Young Men’s League, Imtiaz Ahmed Reshi addressing a gathering at Gulab Bagh in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir and Palestine were offering huge sacrifices in terms of life and property for securing their right to self-determination. He expressed dismay over the indifferences of the international community towards these two disputes.
“The two issues have resemblance, where issue of Palestine has been posing threat to the peace of entire Middle East. The unresolved Kashmir issue is a big challenge for the permanent peace and stability of South Asia,” he added. He urged the UN, OIC and other champions of humanity to play their positive role in the resolution of the disputes of Palestine and Kashmir.
Imtiaz Ahmed Reshi condemned the killing of senior journalist and the Chief Editor of Rising Kashmir, Shujaat Bukhari. He also urged the Kashmiri people to celebrate Eid with austerity and simplicity and also remember the poor and family members of martyrs.
