In the mean time one of the accused persons approached Lahore High Court (LHC).
On March 11, 2010 LHC had directed the Manager PPCBL to hand over the amount to NAB authorities, which was put under caution by NAB and the petition was disposed of.
Meanwhile PPCBL filed a petition in Supreme Court of Pakistan with the stance that the learned Division Bench has solely believed on the submission of Investigation Officer. SC accepting NAB’s stance ordered Bank today to deposit defrauded amount to the Bureau.
