Jammu, January 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have heightened the so-called security and deployed 1,500 additional military and paramilitary personnel in Jammu ahead of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit.
In addition to already deployed police, around 1,500 troops from Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal and Indo-Tibetan Border Police have been deployed in and around the city and highway to keep close vigil. Special night patrolling and nakas have also been strengthened, with police and paramilitary troops frisking each and every vehicle entering the city.
As per reports, Narendra Modi is visiting Jammu on a daylong tour on Tuesday (January 15) to kick-start the campaign for the coming so-called elections for Lok Sabha and Kashmir Assembly. Apart from launching various Jammu-centric developmental projects, he will also address a public rally at Vijaypur in Samba district.
