Lahore, August 03, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 344600 cusecs and Outflows 317000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 62000 cusecs and Outflows 62000 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 52700 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 144900 cusecs and Outflows 124600 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 381900 cusecs and Outflows 373900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 407100 cusecs and Outflows 407200 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 312300 cusecs and Outflows 290000 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 24700 cusecs and Outflows 9200 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 236200 cusecs and Outflows 201800 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 191900 cusecs and Outflows 136500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 122400 cusecs and Outflows 82900.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1534.00 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.273 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1227.90 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.313 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 646.00 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.167 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
