Raja Zafar ul Haq’s name wrongly mentioned as member of Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms in a section of the press: Government spokesman

Islamabad, July 22, 2014 (PPI-OT): A news story “Government finalises names of the parliamentary Electoral Reforms Committee” has been carried out by a section of press today.

In Which it is informed that government and the Opposition have finalized the names of their members for the proposed Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms. It is clarified here that name of Leader of the House Raja Zafar ul Haq has wrongly been mentioned as member of this committee, in the news story.

‘A’ Spokesman for the office of the LOH has cleared the situation that name of the members for the said committee from Pakistan Muslim League (N) and its allied parties have been proposed for the parliamentary committee on Electoral Reforms as under:-

Senator Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar

Senator Malik Mohammad Rafique Rajwana

Senator Mohammad Talha Mehmood

Senator Mir Hilal

It may be clarified that the Leader of the House Senator Raja Mohammad Zafar ul Haque is not proposed member of the committee.
