Srinagar, April 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (JKFM), Muhammad Sharif Sartaj, has said that all pro-India parties and politicians have only lust for power and are equally responsible for Kashmiris’ plight.
Muhammad Sharif Sartaj in a statement issued in Jammu said that Omar Abdullah, Mufti Sayeed, Saifuddin Soz and other pro-India Kashmiri politicians could go to any extent for their own interests.
He said that some pro-India politicians contesting the sham elections were giving an impression that they had the support of Hurriyet leaders which was baseless. He added that in 2002 farcical elections, the pro-India Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had deceived the voters in the same way.
Muhammad Sharif Sartaj said that India’s Kashmir policy was unrealistic and all the pro-India politicians had the same stance on Kashmir. He said that the farcical elections in the territory could not change its disputed status and the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion.
