Pakistan Committed to Climate Resilience: Musadik


Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Musadik Malik has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to environmental protection and climate resilience. In his statement on the occasion of World Earth Day 2025, he emphasized that this year’s Earth Day theme, ‘Our Power, Our Planet,’ is a call to action to embrace clean, renewable energy sources.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the key initiatives by the government in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to achieve environmental sustainability and climate resilience goals. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to enhance the country’s environmental protection efforts.



In her message on the occasion, Minister of State for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Shezra Mansab, stated that Pakistan can effectively help shape a cleaner, stronger, and more sustainable future by promoting reforestation, smart agriculture, and accelerating renewable energy. She urged the public to unite in climate action spearheaded by the present government through different programs.
