Pakistan and Montenegro hold bilateral talks

Islamabad, April 03, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan and Montenegro held Bilateral talks in Podgorica on March 29, 2013. Additional Secretary (Europe), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Ayesha Riyaz, led the Pakistan delegation and was accompanied by Mr. Qasim Raza Muttaqi, Pakistan’s Ambassador accredited to Montenegro. The Montenegrin side was led by Mr. Vladimir Radulovica, State Secretary for Political Affairs, which also included Mr. Predraga Stamatovica, General Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Montenegro.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations, discussed regional and international issues of common interest as well as cooperation in multilateral forums. The Montenegrin side highly appreciated the first ever visit of a senior official from Pakistan side and expressed that the visit would give an impetus to further cooperation between the two countries.

Ms. Riyaz also called on Ms. Nine Vujosevic, Deputy Minister of Economy and discussed economic cooperation and trade related matters.
