Nayeem condoles with families of martyred Kashmiri youth

Srinagar, January 23, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu Kashmir National Front (JKNF) Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, today, visited Naina Batapora in Pulwama and expressed solidarity with Ghulam Qadir Guroo, whose son Parvez Ahmad Guroo was killed by the men in uniform three days back. Nayeem Ahmad Khan also went to Bandena to pay homage to Shaheed Shariq Ahmad Butt who was martyred by Indian forces. He led a party delegation comprised Riyaz Ahmad Wani, Latif Ahmad, Javed Ahmad, Rafiq Ahmad, Abdul Majeed and others.

At Naina, Nayeem Ahmad Khan told the gathering that Indian forces and their local collaborators had become habitual of killing innocent and unarmed Kashmiri youth only because there was no one to take them accountable for such killings. “India and its local collaborators want that Kashmiri people bleed so that their sentiment of freedom becomes weak,” he said The JKNF Chairman said that Ghulam Qadir Guroo and his other family members had been hit by such a big blow that their pain was beyond imagination but ‘we assure them all that their pain is being felt in every human heart and the sacrifice of their son will be remembered for times to come who raised his voice against the Indian oppression and suppression and achieved martyrdom.’

Nayeem Ahmad Khan later went to Bandena and paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Shariq Ahmad Butt. He said: “Our Mujahideen are scripting a new history of resistance by challenging the military might of India.” He reiterated that Kashmir dispute could not be resolved by killing people, arresting them or imposing curbs. “If India sincerely wants to end the blood-shed in Kashmir there is no other way than to accept its disputed nature openly and take steps to resolve it in accordance with the resolutions passed by the UNSC from time to time,” he said.
