Islamabad, July 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Rawalpindi on Friday has arrested an accused, Ghulam Haider on the charges of cheating and defrauding public at large.
The accused is allegedly involved in corruption / corrupt practices by way of defrauding/cheating public at large as he received an amount of Rs 26.6 million in the name of Fruit Business (Merchant) from general public and disappeared after paying them profit for some time.
The arrest warrants of accused Ghullam Haider was issued by Director General (DG) NAB (Rawalpindi). Accused was produced before the Accountability Court Islamabad on Friday and court granted 14 days physical remand of the accused.
