Minister inaugurates Nursing School at Federal Government Polyclinic

Islamabad, August 20, 2015 (PPI-OT): Barrister Usman Ibrahim, Minister of State Capital Administration and Development Division, inaugurated Nursing School at Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC’s) dispensary G-7-3/4, Islamabad, under Capital Administration and Development (CA and DD) on 20th August, 2015. Minister of State, CA and DD, expressed that the Nursing School has been completed at the cost of Rs.40 million. Minister of State added that Nursing school has the capacity to train 100 Nurses every year.

While inaugurating the School, Minister of State Capital Administration and Development, said that Nursing is noble profession and it is more important than doctor. He stressed Nursing students to work hard and server the humanity in a better way. He also declared that the government is increasing their stipend that will also push other to seek admission in Noble Profession of Nursing.

Minister also shared that in near future this Nursing School will introduce B.Sc class. Minister also directed Joint Coordination Committee to review the curriculum of Nursing Schools of PIMS and FGPC and introduce a Uniform Curriculum. Minister appreciated FGPC management for best security arrangements in the Hospital.
