Lahore Township Industrial Association to provide modern health facilities to industrial workers and Medical Center of the area would be turned into state-of-the-art hospital

Lahore, April 24, 2013 (PPI-OT): Lahore Township Industrial Association (LTIA) has planned to provide modern health facilities to the industrial workers and for the purpose Medical Center of the area would be turn into state-of-the-art hospital. Industrialists should extend every possible help to the Punjab Employees Social Security Institute that is serving efficiently to the industrial workers.

These views were expressed by the Chairman Lahore Township Industrial Association Nasrullah Mughal while talking to the Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institute Dr. Sajid Yousfai here on Wednesday. LTIA Vice Chairman Khurram Ilyas, Khawaja Arif Qasim, former Chairman LTIA Babar Mahmood Chaudhry, Iftikhar Bashir Chaudhry, Chairman PIAF Malik Tahir Javed and a large number of industrialists were present on the occasion.

While applauding the role of Punjab Employees Social Security Institute, Nasrullah Mughal said that the institution rendering commendable services for the industrial workers. He urged the industrialists to get themselves registered with the institution and ensure best health facilities for their workers.

On demanded of LTIA Chairman, Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institute Sajid Yousfai promised that instead of Rs.15,000, contribution will be charged keeping in view the ground realities.

He announced that executive cards will be issued to the officers and directors along with the industrial workers so that they could also avail the health facilities available with the institutions. He said that Institution is planning to provide the medical treatment facilities to the relatives overseas Pakistanis but they have also to contribute.

PESSI Commissioner said that not only number of social security hospitals was being increased but existing dispensaries were also being upgraded.

He said that in near future, industrial workers could avail treatment from any dispensary of the institution.

He said that mutual relations between the Lahore Township Industrial Association and Punjab Employees Social Security Institute will be further strengthened.
