Joint resistance leadership issues new protest calendar till Nov 10

Srinagar, November 02, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has today extended the protest program till November 10, while 5 and 6 November will be observed ‘Jammu Martyrs Day” and November 7, will be observed as School Safety Day. Following is the protest program: Protest Program for Right to Self-Determination.

(From November 04, 2016 to November 10, 2016) Date, Activities Friday, November 04(No Relaxation Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Budgam, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Islamabad Freedom March From 9 am, March one and all towards your respective District Headquarters;

Post Friday prayer, hold Freedom Congregation at the place identified and agreed upon locally and mutually; Resistance/Masjid Committees/Youth Volunteers of these Districts coordinate and ensure the arrangements

Saturday, November 05(Relaxation from 4 pm to 7 am) Jammu Massacre Remembrance Day Organize Marchs, Seminars, Local gatherings, Student meetings on Jammu Massacre Remembrance Day at District, Tehsil and Block level in Jammu and Kashmir on November 05 and November 06; Pay tribute to the martyrs of Jammu massacre, Narrate and educate the young ones with the real history of this organised carnage of Muslims by Indian state and Hindu Dogra ruler;

One of the least known genocides in modern history, when 5,00,000 Muslims were killed by Indian state during these 02 days with such a military precision that it is difficult to find its traces, except in the memories of the survivors, and the tales of horror they passed on to their next generations. The aim was to change the demographic composition of Jammu and Kashmir by eliminating the Muslim population. Such was the intensity of carnage that in Jammu province about 123 villages were completely depopulated;

Resistance/Masjid Committees/Youth Volunteers of these areas coordinate and ensure the arrangements, Sunday, November 06(Relaxation from 4 pm to 7 am)-Monday, November 07 (No Relaxation) School Safety Day From 9 am, school children along with parents, elders of the society and Masjid and Resistance committees including youth volunteers march towards respective schools;

Organise School Safety Day in school grounds from 11 am to 4 pm; School your children with the real essence of education, which has been and will remain, the fundamental element in our standing up for freedom, justice and resistance against Indian military occupation;-Also take necessary measures at local level to thwart the on-going targeting of our schools by Indian state and its agencies

Tuesday, November 08(Relaxation from 4 pm to 7 am) Women’s Day Assemble and Occupy local chowks and centres from Zuhr to Asr in the vicinity of your mohallas, villages and localities; Protest with Flags, Placards and Banners with Freedom messages and slogans Wednesday, November 09(Relaxation from 4 pm to 7 am) Wavoora, Rohama, Tulail, Sukhnag (Hard Panzoo), Gund, Eidgah (North), Litter (Lassipora), Herman, Menzgam, Dachnipora Freedom March From 7 am, March one and all from Kupwara to Wavoora, Baramulla to Rohama, Bandipora to Tulail, Budgam to Sukhnag (Hard Panzoo), Ganderbal to Gund, Srinagar to Eidgah (North), Pulwama to Litter (Lassipora), Shopian to Herman, Kulgam to Menzgam and Islamabad to Dachnipora;

Post Zuhr prayer, hold Freedom Congregation at the place identified and agreed upon locally and mutually; Resistance/Masjid Committees/Youth Volunteers of these Blocks coordinate and ensure the arrangements Thursday, November 10(No Relaxation) One Day Azadi Convention Neighbouring villages and localities organize one day Azadi convention from 11 am to 4 pm in respective areas;

Deliberate and discuss ways and means to strengthen the ongoing People’s uprising for freedom from Indian occupation; Resistance/Masjid Committees/Youth Volunteers of these areas coordinate and ensure the arrangements Directions For All Days 1. Protests be held across Jammu and Kashmir. 2.Shutdown across Jammu and Kashmir on all days except for the relaxation mentioned in the program.

3. Relaxation period is for all including Public and private transport as well as factories and other industrial unit holders.4. Public and private vehicular movement not to be stopped after 10 pm to 7 am on all nights.5. Lockdown all the routes entering your Mohallas, Villages and Localities by every means during night to protect people in general and youth in particular from the raids and arrests by Indian forces and J and K Police6.Play Islamic and Azadi Taranas from Maghrib to Isha on all days.7. Paste this Protest Program Poster on the entrance of every mosque and in Market places, Mohallas and Local Chowks.
