India committing cruelty by blocking international aid: Andrabi

Srinagar, October 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF) Chairman, Syed Bashir Andrabi has criticized India for disallowing international aid to reach the flood-affected people of the territory.

Syed Bashir Andrabi talking to flood-affectees while distributing relief in different areas of Valley, said that at a time when the affectees were facing dearth of edibles, housing and other facilities, the Indian government was demonstrating cruelty by blocking the international aid. Andrabi, who distributed medicines and winter clothes in Ratnipora area of Pulwama, hailed the Pakistan Army Chief’s statement on Kashmir in which General Raheel Sharif had stated that the settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people was vital for peace in the region.

He lauded the efforts of Pakistani government for settling the lingering Kashmir dispute.

Andrabi urged the international community to put pressure on India to allow the aid for homeless victims of the territory
