Govt Extends Deadline for Hajj Applications by One Day

Islamabad: The government has announced a one-day extension for the submission of applications under the government Hajj scheme, allowing applicants additional time to apply.

According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that this extension will operate on a first come, first served basis. The designated banks will continue receiving applications until Monday, providing applicants a final opportunity to secure a spot.

In the last twelve days, over 110,000 applications have been received, with only 7,000 seats remaining under the government Hajj scheme. The spokesperson emphasized that the application process will cease once all available seats are filled.

Furthermore, it was clarified that there will be no further extensions for the online portal, which is scheduled to close at midnight today (Saturday).
