Islamabad:Dasht Valley Agricultural development activities under the Green Pakistan Initiative are transforming barren lands in Dasht Valley into fertile fields.

According to Radio Pakistan, the first phase of the project has seen 3,300 acres of land levelled to ensure uniform distribution of water for irrigation.

Special measures have been taken to familiarize local farmers with modern agricultural practices to enhance productivity. The installation of solar tube wells has provided farmers with affordable, clean, and environment-friendly irrigation facilities.
