Peshawar, December 19, 2012 (PPI-OT): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance Engr Muhammad Humayum Khan has said that the present Govt: was giving top priority to the development of far flung and backward areas adding for this end, all the available resources were being utilized.
He was talking to a representative delegation hailing from Argra, District Malakand at his residence Jolagram on Sunday. The delegation thanked the provincial Minister with special reference to the un-precedent development works carried out in Union Council Agra.
It includes the blacktopping of Qulangi-Agra and Inzargai-Bararo Sar roads and up gradation of Agra Girls high school to higher secondary level. Minister Finance said that during the past five years, more than Rs. 270 millions have so far be spent on various development schemes of public utility. He opined that PPP will win the next general elections with over whelming majority and form govt: at Federal as well as Provincial levels.
He said PPP workers were the precious asset of Party and their problems and grievances would be solved on priority basis in future as they have suffered a lot at present. The minister also announced the establishment of Janazgah at Agra and a cricket ground at Inzargai. Later on, the minister attended the Walima of son of Mahboob-ur-Rahman, chairman PPP Batkhela and wished happy life for the new couple.
