Finance Minister and EXIM Bank President Agree on Strategic Framework for Priority Projects

Islamabad: Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has met with President and Chairman of the U.S. EXIM Bank John Jovanovic in Washington. During their meeting, discussions centered on enhancing economic and commercial relations between Pakistan and the United States, specifically targeting the financing of long-term development projects and the promotion of trade in agricultural commodities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister expressed support for the U.S. EXIM Bank's proposal to create a comprehensive framework for priority projects. Both parties reached an agreement to finalize the strategic framework, aiming for it to be signed during the United Nations General Assembly session in September this year.
