The funeral prayer of the mother of Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Sheikh was offered at his native city Lodhran this afternoon.

Besides his relatives and local people, high officials belonging to Multan, Bahawalpur and notables of the city attended the Nimaz-e-Janaza.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the mother of the Director General Radio Pakistan. He said mother is a priceless being in the world who cannot be replaced. He said death of mother is a great tragedy for children.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, the Information Minister prayed for the departed soul.

Information Secretary Shahera Shahid has also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the mother of the Director General Radio Pakistan.
