Karachi, November 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Abbas Ali Abdollahi today had a farewell meeting with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at Chief Minister House this afternoon.
Chief Minister Sindh lauded the services rendered by Consul General of Iran, and said that due to his personal efforts and admiration, the economic, trade, educational and cultural relations have further improved and strengthened between Iran and Pakistan.
Syed Qaim Ali shah added that due to full support of Consul General of Iran, the affected people of heavy rains and floods, were provided relief, shelter and medical facilities. He added that the Government and People of brethren country of Iran had fully cooperated and helped in times of difficulties and crisis.
Mr. Abbas Ali Abdollahi thanked the Chief Minister Sindh for his cooperation and assistance during his tenure at Karachi. He termed the Chief Minister Sindh as his elder brother and said that with cooperation, coordination, and guidance he spent well in Karachi.
On the occasion, the Consul General of Iran and Chief Minister Sindh exchanged gifts to each other. Later, the Chief Minister Sindh hosted lunch in honour of Consul General of Iran Mr. Abbas Ali Abdollahi.
