The 21st death annivesary of famous classical singer Shahida Parveen was observed on Wednesday.Shahida Parveen was the daughter of famous singer Zahida Parveen. Apart from her mother, she learnt the art of music from Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan and Ustad Chhote Ghulam Ali Khan.Like her mother, Shahida Parveen was also skilled in singing kafis and she sang various kafis of various Sufi poets, especially Hazrat Ghulam Fareed.Shahida Parveen died on this date back in 2003 and was buried in Miani Sahib's graveyard in Lahore.
