Minority Shelter Home in Mirpurkhas to be established

Karachi, July 27, 2017 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh for Minorities Affairs, Dr. Khatu Mal Jeewan said that a Minority Shelter Home will be established in Mirpurkhas Division where the woman will get residence, food and other facilities including legal assistance in their cases. This he said while meeting with the delegation of minority community in his office. Ameen Soothra, Naji Mal, Mst. Patishia and other were also present.

He said that the establishment of Shelter Home in Mirpukhas Division would resolve many issues like family fends, forced marriage and other social evil. Dr. Khatu Mal added, ‘In proposed shelter’ home vocational education ad formal education will also be provided there so that those skilled woman may play their positive role in the progress of the society.
