Extra Police to be deployed for maintaining Law and Order at Jumma-Tul-Widdah

Lahore, June 18, 2017 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has applauded Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, police, administration and law enforcement agencies for ensuring foolproof security arrangements for the protection of life and property of the people on Youm-e-Shahdat of Hazrat Ali (RA). He said that Cabinet Committee on Law and Order along-with other concerned departments managed paramount security arrangements under best coordination in the province. He said that police authorities and officers as well as officials of law enforcement agencies performed their duties efficiently.

He said that due to best arrangements of Punjab Police, administration and concerned institutions, this consecrated day passed calmly. Congratulating them for their teamwork, the Chief Minister directed Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, Police and Law enforcement agencies to keep up working with the same passion and commitment. Paying tributes to the performance of Provincial Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, police, administration and law enforcement agencies on ensuring foolproof security arrangements for the protection of life and property of the people throughout the province, he appreciated their performance.

He said that due to the blessings of Allah Almighty and the hard work of concerned departments, Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali remained peaceful. The Cabinet Committee on Law and Order and all line departments will also have to perform well in future, he added. Shehbaz Sharif said that foolproof security arrangements should also be made on Jumma-tul-Widdah by deploying extra police force to protect mosques and Imam Bargahs. He said that we have to work hard with the same passion and commitment in future for maintaining law and order and make the country a haven of peace through unity among our ranks.
