Islamabad: A four-member Palestinian delegation, headed by Chief Islamic Justice of Palestine, Dr Mahmoud Al-Habbash, met with Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf in Islamabad on Thursday. The meeting underscored Pakistan's commitment to the Palestinian cause and its stance against the ongoing issues in Gaza.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Palestinian delegation expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and property in the flood-affected areas of Pakistan. During the meeting, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf emphasized that support for the Palestinian cause is a human and moral duty that transcends religion, race, belief, and culture.
The Minister for Religious Affairs condemned the Israeli actions in Gaza and affirmed that Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral, and diplomatic support to Palestine under all circumstances. Dr Mahmoud Al-Habbash expressed gratitude to Pakistan for consistently raising a strong voice against the events in Gaza.
