Peshawar: A winter internship program organized by ISPR for female students is currently underway at various universities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The initiative aims to train the younger generation, foster a sense of national spirit, and enhance awareness about the country's defense sector.
According to Radio Pakistan, as part of the program, female students visited the Special Services Group (SSG) Para Training School in Peshawar, where they were given an in-depth briefing on the professional training of paratroopers, operational equipment, and practical exercises. Expert SSG instructors explained para-jump procedures and conducted live demonstrations to familiarize the students with operational techniques.
The students expressed admiration for the discipline, professional competence, and sacrifices of SSG commandos. At the conclusion of the visit, the participants described the educational and training environment of the Para Training School as highly informative and beneficial. The students said that the visit provided firsthand insight into how paratroopers defend the country in the air. They added that witnessing the rigorous training and strict discipline helped them better understand the dedication and efforts of SSG soldiers in safeguarding the nation.
