Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed to the parameters of a potential mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.

Speaking at a news conference in Lviv city following a trilateral meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the UN secretary-general António Guterres, he said only International Atomic Energy Agency can guarantee nuclear safety.

The Ukrainian leader also urged Russia to immediately withdraw its forces from the nuclear power plant and stop all military activity in the area.
