Islamabad: Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reaffirmed Turkiye's full support for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's efforts to restore peace and stability in the region. He made these remarks during a telephonic call with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during their conversation, the Turkish President conveyed his felicitations to the Prime Minister on Pakistan's peace initiative aimed at ending hostilities in the region. President Erdogan commended the Prime Minister's leadership in pursuing efforts to end the conflict in the Gulf, which has caused human suffering and destruction of infrastructure.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the Turkish President for his encouragement and endorsement of Pakistan's peace efforts. He reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Later, in a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif mentioned his conversation with President Erdogan, expressing gratitude for Turkiye's support. Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of working with friends and partners, including Turkiye, in the quest for lasting regional peace.
