Ankara, December 05, 2017 (PPI-OT):Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Mr. Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi while giving a briefing to the participants of the 107th National Management Course of the National School of Public Policy on the status of multi-faceted Turkey-Pakistan bilateral relations said that the brotherly ties are flourishing in diverse fields.
Ambassador Syrus Qazi apprised the delegation of the deep historical and cultural roots of Pakistan-Turkey relations and their steady growth in all domains, including political, economic, investment, defence, cultural and educational fields. “Owing to the commitment of political leadership and keen interest of the private sector, Pakistan-Turkey relations are witnessing growth and footprints of Turkish investment in Pakistan are growing,” said the Envoy.
He emphasized that efforts were underway to transform the excellent brotherly ties into a strong partnership, with a major focus on enhanced trade and economic relationship. The Ambassador added that Pakistan could learn from the Turkish experience in the public welfare projects that the Turkish government has implemented in the last fifteen years.
As part of their study tour, the Pakistani delegation will visit various departments and institutions and shall evaluate the local government, SME sector, agriculture, health, disaster management and development administration of Turkey. The delegation is on a study tour of Turkey from 4 – 8 December 2017 and comprises senior officers from both the federal and provincial governments as well as autonomous institutions who are expected to assume leadership role in government departments.

Islamabad, December 05, 2017 (PPI-OT):The National Assembly and Senate Standing Committees on Defence today visited at the forward post Qabranwali, Sector Neza Pir, LOC under the Chairmanship of Shaikh Rohale Asghar MNA and Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed. The lawmakers were briefed on the prevailing situation at LOC in detail. While briefing, the Committee was informed that 2200 times, Indian Army did cease fire violation and targeted the civil population living across the LOC in the current year.
The main purpose cease-fire violation by the Indian forces is to divert the attention of the International Community from the atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. The Committee was also briefed about the causalities of military men and civilian. The Committee also made interaction with the Army jawans deployed their on the forward post and appreciated them on protecting the frontiers of the country.
The Committee also visited the Chakothi-Ori crossing point and briefed the Committee over the civilian and trade service between AJK and Indian Occupied Kashmir in detail. Thereafter the Committee visited the trade facilitation center established at Chakothi and the D.G Trade and Travelling Authority briefed the Committee on the travelling of civilians and trade services between the AJK and Indian Occupied Kashmir in detail.
The visit/briefing was attended by Mr. Tahir Bashir Cheema, Mr. Isphanyar M. Bhandara, Sheikh Muhammad Akram, Ms. Surriya Asghar, Lt. Col. (Retd) Ghulam Rasul Sahi, Mr. Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais, Shaikh Fayyaz ud Din, Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar MNAs and Senator Lt Gen (R) Abdul Qayyum, Senator Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi.
