Tariq, Talal Condemn Remarks by PTI Founder’s Sister on Marka-e-Haq Triumph

Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry have strongly condemned the irresponsible statement made by PTI founder's sister, Noreen Niazi, regarding Pakistan's historic victory in Marka-e-Haq.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a video statement, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan's success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos had earned global recognition. He highlighted that military experts, sections of the international media, and world leaders have acknowledged Pakistan's performance during the conflict. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry further mentioned that Pakistan had publicly released the tail numbers of the Indian aircraft it destroyed, while India has never denied the downing of its planes. He asserted that Pakistan's military and cyber operations showcased the country's capabilities during the operation.

In his video statement, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry condemned Noreen Niazi's remarks as shameful and contrary to Pakistan's sovereignty, dignity, and national interest. He stated that Pakistan's armed forces symbolize the country's security and honour, praising their sacrifices in defending the nation. Talal Chaudhry noted that the entire nation condemns the statement and highlighted that the PTI founder and his family have been repeatedly making statements against state institutions, particularly the armed forces. He also mentioned that legal action has been initiated against Noreen Niazi, with an initial legal notice already served.

In addition, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani, in a video statement, described Noreen Niazi's remarks as highly condemnable and regrettable. He expressed disappointment that certain elements find it difficult to accept Pakistan's victory in Marka-e-Haq. Bilal Azhar Kayani stated that Noreen Niazi's comments reflect the mindset of the PTI and its founder, suggesting they are willing to go to any extent to serve their vested political interests, even at the cost of Pakistan's defence, diplomacy, and economy.
