Sindh Govt Launches Technology-Based Students’ Attendance Monitoring in Province


Karachi: The Sindh government has launched a technology-based students’ attendance monitoring and redress system in the province. This initiative aims to enhance the monitoring of student attendance, reduce dropout rates, and address the underlying causes of absenteeism.



According to Radio Pakistan, the announcement was made during a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the launching ceremony of the Student Attendance Monitoring and Redress System in Karachi. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of utilizing technology effectively to achieve these educational goals. He has directed the School Education Department to ensure the full implementation of this system to improve attendance and retention in schools across Sindh.



The new system is expected to provide real-time data and analytics to help school authorities and policymakers make informed decisions. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the region.
