Chairman Senate Yousuf Raza Gillani has appreciated the treasury and opposition members for fully participating in the special sitting of the Senate yesterday addressed by Speaker of Federation Council of Russian Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko.Speaking in the Senate today, he noted it was a successful session which enhanced the stature of the Upper House.The Senate also passed the Seed Amendment Bill, 2024. It was moved by Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain.The House has now been adjourned to meet again on Friday at ten thirty am.Source: Radio Pakistan
