Security Forces Foil Terrorist Attack on Cadet College Wana

Islamabad: Security forces have successfully neutralized two Khwarij of the Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij, during a terrorist attack on Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan District.

According to Radio Pakistan, the terrorists carried out a heinous and cowardly assault on the college, attempting to breach its perimeter security; however, their nefarious designs were swiftly foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of own troops.

Own troops, displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence, engaged the intruders with precision, and eliminated the two Khwarij. However, three terrorists managed to enter the college premises and were later cornered in the administrative block. In desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate, causing its collapse and damaging adjacent infrastructure.

These Khwarij have once again tried to repeat the act of terrorism carried out by them in Army Public School Peshawar in 2014. Their aim was to instill fear among the young generation of the erstwhile tribal areas who are acquiring quality education at their doorstep to excel in life and contribute positively to their communities.

Reports indicate that the terrorists hiding inside the college premises are in contact with their masters and handlers in Afghanistan and are receiving instructions from there. This act of barbarism, orchestrated by Khwarij from Afghan soil, is in contrast to assertions made by the Afghan Taliban regime claiming non-presence of these terrorist groups on their territory.

Pakistan reserves the right to respond against terrorists and their leadership present in Afghanistan. Clearance operations are underway to eliminate the remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue their counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam,’ as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
