Islamabad: Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil and Principal Information Officer Mobashir Hassan have felicitated the newly elected office-bearers of the National Press Club (NPC), Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the congratulations were extended to the newly elected President Abdul Razzaq Sial, Senior Vice President Ehtisham ul Haq, Vice Presidents Sehrish Qureshi, Usman Khan, and Bashir Chaudhry, Secretary Furqan Rao, along with other cabinet members including Abid Abbasi, Shiraz Gardezi, Aoon Sherazi, Javed Bhagat, and Shakeela Jalil.

In his message, Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil emphasized that the Press Club is a significant voice for journalists, playing a crucial role in promoting professional values and safeguarding their rights. Principal Information Officer Mobashir Hassan expressed optimism that the new leadership of the National Press Club will actively engage in efforts for the welfare of journalists, professional development, and the promotion of free and responsible journalism.

Both Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil and Mobashir Hassan extended their best wishes to the newly elected leadership of the National Press Club, hoping for a successful tenure ahead.
