The Federal Government has approved deployment of Pakistan Army troops in Islamabad under Article 245 of the Constitution to maintain law and order with regard to the upcoming SCO meeting.According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, the army troops will assist the district administration in maintaining law and order from 5th to 17th of this month with respect to the 23rd meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government and visits of VVIP delegations for the event.Source: Radio Pakistan
