SBP Launches Campaign to Promote Digitalization of Payments in Cattle Markets

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has launched a nationwide campaign to promote digitalization of payments in cattle markets. In a statement, the SBP announced that the campaign will run until the 6th of next month, aiming to encourage both buyers and sellers to adopt digital payment methods when purchasing sacrificial animals.

According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative is focused on increasing the convenience, security, and modernity associated with digital payments. The SBP has called on media outlets to support the 'Go Cashless in Cattle Markets' campaign by raising awareness about the benefits of digital transactions. The campaign is part of a broader effort to modernize the financial transactions within the country and to facilitate a cashless economy.
