Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has directed the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) to ensure the quality of flour and other utility items.Chairing a review meeting regarding Ramadan Package 2024, in Islamabad today, he said no compromise should be made on the recommended standard and quality of utility items.The Minister also directed the corporation to overcome any loophole in this regard.According to the spokesperson of the Ministry, a total of 12.5 billion rupees have been fixed for Ramadan Package 2024.Over ten million bags of ten kilograms floor will be distributed under this package, out of which, 8.2 million bags have been distributed.A total of 35000 metric tons of sugar was procured under this package out of which 27000 metric tons have been distributed. Over 15000 metric tons of ghee has also been distributed under the Ramadan Package.Source: Radio Pakistan
