Islamabad: Prominent Qatari business enterprises Rataj Group and Tamim Holdings have expressed a strong interest in expanding their investment portfolios within Pakistan. The interest was conveyed during a meeting in Islamabad between a delegation of the group, led by its Chairman Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister welcomed the delegation and emphasized the long-standing, strong, and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar. He also referenced his recent visit to Qatar, where he offered condolences on the passing of the Qatari Emir's father. Furthermore, Shehbaz Sharif expressed anticipation for the upcoming visit of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to Pakistan.
