In Punjab, more than 850,000 farmers of Punjab have been registered for the Kisan Card.Punjab Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani visited the Card's Distribution Center in Sahiwal today and reviewed the arrangements.Speaking on the occasion, he said 250,000 cards have been distributed and the remaining 600,000 cards will be delivered by October 15.The minister said that 134 centers at the tehsil level have been established for the distribution of the Punjab Kisan Cards.He said that the Punjab Kisan Card will be used for the purchase of agricultural inputs.The Minister said Punjab government will also provide a subsidy of 1 million rupees per tractor to the farmers.Source: Radio Pakistan
