Punjab Govt Setting New Records in Road Sector: CM Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the provincial government is setting new records in the road sector through fast, transparent, and quality development work.

According to Radio Pakistan, while chairing a meeting in Lahore to review the performance of the Communications and Works Department, Chief Minister Sharif was informed about the remarkable achievements in the road sector. The meeting highlighted that 1,129 roads, covering a total distance of 1,795 kilometers, have been completed in just 75 days, with an investment of 30 billion rupees.

Officials present at the meeting credited this accomplishment to the dedication of field staff who worked tirelessly in three shifts. Their concerted efforts not only ensured the swift completion of the projects but also resulted in significant cost savings, amounting to 11 billion rupees. The government's commitment to efficient and quality infrastructure development is evident from these impressive statistics.
