Punjab Government, for first time has released Easter Grant for Christian community under which Eidi worth five thousand rupees per family distributed among ten thousand Christian families today.In this connection, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Safdarabad near Sheikhupura and distributed Easter Grant.She visited the Church, cut an Easter cake and conveyed Easter wishes to the community.Later, the Chief Minister visited the Maryamabad area in Lahore, went to Church and planted a tree there.Addressing a gathering of Christian community, Maryam Nawaz lauded services of Christian community for progress of country especially in field of defence and education.Source: Radio Pakistan
