Islamabad: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved another milestone today and surpassed the psychological barrier of one lac thirty-four thousand points in the Hundred Index during the trading.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Hundred Index that closed at one lac thirty-three thousand seven hundred and eighty-two (133,782) points yesterday reached one lac thirty-four thousand six hundred and twenty-four (134,624) points. This showcases an increase of over eight hundred points in the Hundred Index during the trading session.

The upward trend in the stock exchange is a testament to the increasing confidence of the business community in the economic policies of the government.
