Islamabad:Professor Dr. Nadia Ali Azfar has highlighted that psoriasis, an autoimmune disease, can be effectively managed with timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

According to Radio Pakistan, in an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Correspondent Qasim Bukhari on the occasion of World Psoriasis Day, Dr. Azfar noted that the incidence of psoriasis is on the rise. She emphasized that this condition affects men, women, and children of any age, characterized by red patches and white scales on the skin, along with severe itching and pain.

Dr. Azfar urged individuals experiencing symptoms of psoriasis to seek consultation from a qualified dermatologist and cautioned against self-medication without proper medical advice.
